A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is the person who requires help in daily life activities and is accountable for assisting individuals who’ve health care requirements. They provide bedside treatment to their patients. They work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
CNAs are the health care employees who work under the supervision of Registered Nurses. To be a CNA, you need to have persistence and high devotion towards patients’ treatment. CNAs need to encounter lots of challenges throughout the duty hours due to work load and lots of other factors. However the compassion and skill in patient care assists to reduce the tension due to work load.
CNAs or nursing aides are supervised by senior nurses to assist and help patients with their every day tasks. They work in hospitals, nursing houses, home health agencies as well as other health care settings to provide health care services to patients.
